Paint Properties
Q: Can I wash painted items?
A: Yes. Let the paint dry 24 – 48 hours after application to ensure maximum durability. Styloz can be washed with common household cleaners, but a shoe cleaner will work best.
Q: Will painted items lose their elasticity?
A: It depends on the material that is being painted, but Styloz Paint was designed to maintain the original elasticity of the media.
Q: How long does Styloz Paint need to dry?
A: It takes 30 minutes to be dry to touch and 24-48 hours to be completely dry. Additional layers of paint can be added after 30 minutes. Drying can be accelerated using hot gun.
Q: Can I apply Styloz Paint without Styloz Preparer and Deglazer?
A: Yes. Applying Styloz Paint without treating the material with Styloz Preparer and Deglazer will cause the paint to not adhere as strongly to the material, but it will not cause any issues as long as the painted material is not treated roughly.
Q: Does Styloz Paint expire?
A: When stored in dark conditions and under room temperature, Styloz Paint should last 4 years. To maximize storage life, do not dip wet brushes into the bottle to prevent bacterial growth and always pour Styloz Paint into a separate container before usage.
Q: Can I dilute Styloz Paint with water instead of Styloz Diluent?
A: Yes, though it will weaken the paint properties such as color strength and opacity. Dilution with water should only be done if you desire a more transparent finish.
Q: What is the difference between Helios Gold (P04) and Midas Gold (P05)?
A: Midas Gold uses a unique, premium pearlescent pigment that gives a brighter and more reflective finish. The finish looks like a fine golden glitter with some soft golden ‘blings’.
Q: How durable is Styloz Paint?
A: Painted material will withstand normal usage. Heavy activities such as sports will reduce durability.
How to Use Styloz Paint & Its Application
Q: What types of material can be painted using Styloz Paint?
A: Various common fabric and leather materials, such as canvas, leather (real and synthetic), denim, mesh, suede, and cotton.
Q: Can I paint midsoles?
A: Yes. Rub the midsole using Styloz Leather Preparer and Deglazer before applying the paint, then apply two to three layers of Styloz Finisher above the paint to maximize durability.
Q: Can I paint soles?
A: Yes, but the frequent friction will lower the paint’s durability.
Q: Can I apply Styloz Paint with an airbrush?
A: Yes. Mix Styloz Paint thoroughly with 20% Styloz Diluent before pouring it into your airbrush to prevent clogging.
Q: How do I prevent brushmarks?
A: Apply thin and even layers of paint. Brushmarks will not be visible once you have reached a certain level of opacity.

Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: Yes, we ship to most countries. For Southeast Asian countries, it is easiest to purchase from our Indonesian Shopee page. For a cheaper delivery cost and quicker delivery time, please check if your country has a local Styloz distributor.
Q: What courier service do you use for international shipments?
A: Either DHL or the Indonesian National Postal Service (PT. Pos Indonesia), who collaborates with EMS.
Q: I do not have a PayPal account. How can I pay?
A: You can use Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express on PayPal without creating an account.
Q: What is your return/refund policy?
A: Full refund is given on a case-by-case basis. We will require proof and sufficient reasoning for refunds. You do not need to return the items to get a refund. Keep in mind that return/refund policy is different for our distributors.
Q: Do you handle inquiries related to purchases from your distributors?
A: Distributors are independent resellers, therefore please direct purchase inquiries directly to where you bought the product. However, we are still happy to help you with product-related questions
